HUM-Dingers Handbell Choir Performs
Sunday, December 21, the HUM-Dingers will be ringing their handbells at 8:30 and 11 am services.

A Service of Hope & Light
On the longest night of the year, reconnect with God, and remember the true promise of the season,
held Sunday December 21st at 6:00pm.

A Service of Lessons & Carols
A single service of Lessons and Carols will be held on Sunday, December 28th at 10:00am.
There will be NO Children’s Church during this service.

Christmas Cantata
This year’s Christmas Cantata will be held Saturday, December 13th at 7:00pm, and Sunday December 14th at the 11:00 service as well as 7:00pm that night. Nursery Care will be provided at all Cantata performances.

Christmas Worship Schedule
You are invited to a Candlelight Christmas Eve Service of Holy Communion
 at 5:00pm and 11:00pm.
The Cantata Choir will be singing at both services. Bring your family and friends to share in this blessed event!
Nursery Care WILL be provided at the 5:00pm service on Christmas Eve.

DISCIPLE BIBLE STUDY

Disciple is a structured 9 month course 2 hours per class 1 day per week.

Dates: Sep 2008 to May 2009
Location: HUMC
Cost of ALL Classes $45.00 per Course.
Classes consist of Readings, Notes, and Discussions

Disciple I is a 34 week study that moves through the biblical story from creation to the new Jerusalem. Aimed at transformation not just information. Completion of this course is a pre-requisite for all other studies in Disciple.

Disciple II is a 32 week study of Genesis, Exodus, Luke and Acts. Teaches basic study skills for going deeper into scripture. Links Bible study to witness and service in the world. Emphasizes practice of the spiritual disciplines

Disciple III a 32 week study of the Prophets and the Letters of Paul. Sets the writings in historical and geographical context and also introduces the portfolio of maps and charts. The course will echo the demand of Paul to put God first.

Disciple IV the final 32 week course in the disciple Curriculum. The study will include the writings of the Old Testament, the Gospel of John and Revelation. Also this course taps into the power of the Psalms with a Psalm of the week. Session 31 will include a video led worship experience of the book of Revelation.
