ADULT EDUCATION

SPECIAL CLASSES/OPPORTUNITIES

"Movable Feast" Adult Bible Study - Contact: Richard Mozingo

Meeting in Room 2, the "Movable Feast" is an energetic study and discussion of the new testament. Participants select a book of the new testament to study, and offer whatever insights they may be led to share as it is read, or just listen to the discussion. A variety of references and resources are used for guidance and background. Newcomers are welcome to join in anytime. We have coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and a light snack/pastry. A great group to drop in on. Everyone of every age is welcome.

Men's Bible Classes - Contact: Walt Makaryk wmakaryk@msn.com

Meeting in Room 4, this men's bible study group uses Cokesbury's Adult Bible Studies Uniform Series study materials.

Women's Bible Class - Carolyn Justice

Christian Life (formerly Adult II) - Steve Calarco sgcalarco@bellsouth.net or 279-4736.

Christian Life meets in Room 5. The reference material used is an annual publication from Abingdon Press for adult bible studies. The class is a mix of ages and gender. Typically there are some questions from the book followed by much general discussion. The agenda is flexible and not extremely structured which allows the class to discuss the lesson from the study manual and how to apply it to our Christian lives.
